When you enter characters on the onscreen keyboard of your CLIE handheld, open an application, or select an item, press lightly on the desired button or icon with the stylus. CLIE handheld recognizes your stroke immediately and prints the letter at the insertion point on the screen. As soon as you lift the stylus from the screen, you can begin the stroke for the next character you want to write. Chapter 2 Using basic applications This chapter describes how to do tasks that are specific or common to the basic applications of your CLIE handheld: Date Book, Address Book, To Do List, Memo Pad, Expense, and Calculator.
