This adjustment may be necessary when connecting a DVD player to the MULTI CHANNEL INPUT 1/MULTI CHANNEL INPUT 2 jacks. The sub woofer level from DVD players is 10 dB lower than Super Audio CD players. x EFFECT LEVEL XXX% (Effect level) Initial setting: 100% Higher settings apply more surround effect. You can adjust from 20 % to 120 % in 10 % steps. * Only when the surround back speaker is set to "SINGLE" or "YES" in the SP. SET UP menu (page 21). **Only when the surround back speaker is set to "DUAL" in the SP. SET UP menu (STR-DA2000ES only) (page 21). Note When one of the following sound fields are selected, no sound is output from the sub woofer if all the speakers are set to "LARGE" in the SP. SET UP menu.
