Sound control adjustment Sound controls are factory preset but you can adjust them individually as follows: 1 Press MENU in the TV mode. The TV menu screen will appear. RECALL TV/DVD POWER 1 4 7 SLEEP INPUT SELECT 23 GAME 56 OPEN/CLOSE 89 CLOSED CAPTION MUTE 0 TOP MENU SUBTITLE AUDIO ANGLE SETUP/MENU DVD MENU CANCEL ZOOM/CH RTN CH + VOL - VOL + RETURN CH - ENTER REV SKIP PLAY STOP FWD PLAY MODE SKIP JUMP SLOW PAUSE SLOW REPEAT A-B 2 Press or until the AUDIO menu appears. BASS 0 TREBLE 0 BALANCE 0 SURROUND OFF STABLE SOUND OFF < > / / / /MENU 3 Press or to select the item you want to adjust. BASS 0 TREBLE 0 BALANCE 0 SURROUND OFF STABLE SOUND OFF < > / / / /CANCEL/MENU 4 Press or to adjust the setting. BASS: Press or to adjust the bass sound. TREBLE: Press or to adjust the treble sound. BALANCE: Press or to obtain an equal sound level from both speakers. SURROUND: Press or to select "ON" or "OFF". ON: The dynamic presence and sound created offers a thoroughly enjoyable listening experience. OFF: Normal sound. STABLE SOUND: Press or to select "ON" or "OFF". ON: The STABLE SOUND feature limits the highest volume level to prevent extreme changes in volume when the signal source is changed. OFF: Normal sound. 5 After your desired setting press MENU until the MENU screen is cleared. CANCEL Pressing CANCEL while making sound adjustments will return all adjustments to the factory preset levels. 20
