Getting Ready Photography Using the Self-timer (Self-timer Photography) When the self-timer is used, the shutter automatically closes after the preset time (two or ten seconds). ☞ Changing the set time until photography ➲ Page 59 Set the mode dial to [ ] or [ ]. After you have set the self-timer, the setting is not canceled even if the camera is turned off or the Auto Power OFF function is activated.
