Advanced playback Ti tying in a Favorite Order You can combine your favorite titles, chapters, or tracks and play them in any order. You can program up to 28 selections into the memory. MEMORY The following display appears. D: Disc number T: Title number or track number C: Chapter number DT C 1 El 2 - DTC DTC DTC 8 -15 22 - 9- -16 -23 1 1 _____1g__--_25 - 5 - -12 19- -26 - - 7- 14-----21 -----28 • To change the programmed selections 1 While the MEMORY display appears on the TV screen, press • / • to move the highlighted bar to the item you want to change. 2 Change the selection following the instructions in step 2. • To cancel the programmed selections 1 While the MEMORY display appears on the TV screen, press • / • to move the highlighted bar to the item you want to cancel. 2 Press CLEAR. 2 Select the items in the order you want by pressing the number buttons, then ENTER for each item. Each time you press the 1/0- button, the spaces of "D", "T" and "C" are highlighted in turn. Highlight where you want to enter, then press the number buttons. To select tracks from a VIDEO CD/audio CD in order, press the number buttons for the track, then press the ENTER button for each selection you want. To select another title, chapter or track in the same disc, you do not need to select the disc number. To select another chapter in the same title, you do not need to select the title number. 3 Press PLAY while the MEMORY display appears on the TV screen. PLAY I= The DVD video player starts memory playback. • To resume normal playback from memory playback Press CLEAR. CLEAR The memory playback indicator disappears. ■ To program during playback If you press the MEMORY button during playback, a display appears to accept your programming. If you further press the DISPLAY button, you can display the MEMORY setting also. Follow steps 2 and 3. Notes • Some discs may not permit memory playback operation. • If you press the REPEAT button during memory playback, the DVD video player repeats the current memory playback. • If you press the MEMORY or RETURN button while the MEMORY display appears on the TV screen, the MEMORY display disappears. • The programmed selections will be cleared when you turn off the DVD video player. • When using a DVD video disc, the memory playback may be canceled when the DVD video player switches the discs. 28
