164 Toshiba Utilities CD/DVD Drive Acoustic Silencer 2 Select the desired option(s). 3 Click OK. The zoom in and zoom out hot keys will now work with the applications you selected. To zoom in, hold down the Fn key and press 2; to zoom out, hold down the Fn key and press 1. For more information about how to use the TOSHIBA Zooming utility, right click the icon in the Taskbar and then click Help. CD/DVD Drive Acoustic Silencer This utility can slow the speed of your optical drive to make it run more quietly. You can use this utility to make listening to music CDs more enjoyable. NOTE When you change the CD/DVD drive to "Quiet" mode, the setting is only valid for the current Windows session. If you shut down, restart, log off, or resume from hibernation, the setting will revert back to Normal speed. The setting can also be changed by CD burning software or other applications that can set the drive speed. (Sample Image) CD/DVD Drive Acoustic Silencer screen
