If you want to stop the recording, press [0] then [7], [8], or [5]. 5) When you finish, you will hear intermittent beeps indicating that the answering machine is in the command waiting mode. You can enter another command from the chart, or you can hang up to exit the answering machine. 6) When you hang up, the answering machine automatically returns to its normal standby setting.
