Chapter 5 Setting the BIOS BIOS Setup Utility is a program for configuring the BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) settings of the computer. BIOS is a layer of software called firmware that translates instructions from other layers of software into instructions so that the computer hardware devices can understand them.
