• Install the base unit away from electronic equipment such as personal computers, television sets or microwave ovens. Avoid excessive heat, cold, dust or moisture. • Connect the power and telephone line cords to the underside of the base as illustrated. • P l u g t h e A C adapter into an electrical outlet. If the battery has not been previously charged, place the handset in the base, and allow it to charge for 16 hours (or overnight). Connect the telephone line cord to the wall jack. Installation Connect Power and Telephone Line Cords Standard electrical outlet Modular telephone jack Connect the power cord.
