r HELP ENTER) SHIFT Press this key when you need help with a question. When this key is pressed, you will be provided with additional clues to a problem. Press this key when inputting answers to questions or problems for most of the activities. Press this key to access an expansion cartridge. This key will not work unless the expansion cartridge has been inserted into learning unit. Cartridges should be inserted when the unit is off. Press the SHIFT key at the same time as the function key to perform the special function that appears on the top half of that key. Hold down the SHIFT key to type uppercase letters. Use the (A) and • ) keys to move the screen cursor up or down from line to line. Use the and right on screen. keys to move the cursor to the left or TO BEGIN PLAY • Turn on your Talking Whiz Kid FRONTIER'' learning unit by pressing the ON key button located on the top cabinet. • Select an activity you wish to play by pressing the corresponding code number and then press ENTER. The activity numbers are shown in front of each activity name on top left side of the product. To access the activities with a single' digit code number, simply type in the number and press ENTER. • Press the SHIFT and the PLAYER key together to change the number of players in any of the applicable activities. • Press the LEVEL key to change the level of difficulty in any of the applicable activities. • To change activities, simply press the ACTIVITY key then press the code number, and then press the ENTER button. 8
