POSSIBLE CAUSES Power supply cord is unplugged. Household fuse is blown or a circuit breaker is tripped. Main or regulator gas shutoff valve is in the off position. The range is improperly connected to the gas supply. The control knob is not set correctly. Air in the gas lines Clogged burner ports Clogged burner ports Burner caps positioned improperly Range converted improperly Cookware and flame are not matched. Improper cookware Control knob set to incorrect heat level Range is not level Air in the gas lines Control is locked. Control is in Demo Mode. Electronic oven control set incorrectly SOLUTIONS Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet. Replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker. If the problem continues, call an electrician. If this is the first time the surface burners have been used, turn on any one of the surface burner knobs to release air from the gas lines. See "Sealed Surface Burners" section. The cookware should be centered above the burner with the bottom sitting level on the grate. The flame should be adjusted so that it does not extend up the sides of the pan. Ideal cookware should have a flat bottom, straight sides and a well fitting lid, and the material should be of a medium to heavy thickness. See "Cooktop Use" section. Level the range. See the Installation Instructions. If this is the first time the oven has been used, turn on any one of the surface burner knobs to release air from the gas lines. Press and hold START for 3 seconds to unlock. Press and hold START TIME for 10 seconds to exit Demo Mode. Demo Mode is used for display models in a showroom.
