IP Address: The lP or Internet Address is a unique 4 byte, 32 bit numeric value that is assigned to each local host and workstation on a TCP/IP network. An IP address consists of four fields, each separated by a decimal point. For example: 13.254.166.111. NOTE: The TCP/IP Internet spans the entire world.
