NOTES: ♦ TGBackup will attempt to locate a "ready" tape drive; If no ready tape drives are found the script aborts and the boot process continues. ♦ DocuSP 4.X systems with 36 Gbyte or more total disk space have three file systems to dump: root (/), /var, and /var/spool/XRXnps. Systems with less than 36G total disk space have only the root file system to dump. ♦ If the current tape cassette fills up, the dump process pauses and the user is prompted to insert another cassette. Eject the cassette and insert a new blank. ♦ Be sure to properly label and number the tapes if more than one is used. It is critical that the tapes be inserted in the correct order for a recovery to be successful. ♦ Once the file system dumping is complete, the boot process resumes and the printer is ready. 27
