For example, if you are making three single-sided copies of a six page original and select collated, the copies are printed in this order: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 If you select uncollated, the copies are printed in this order: 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6 Press the Output button on the control panel to change the selection to Collated or Uncollated. 21 22 12 11 2424-165 WorkCentre® C2424 Copier-Printer 3-14

Collating Copies
When you are making several copies of a multi-page original, you can automatically collate
the output. For example, if you are making three single-sided copies of a six page original and
select collated, the copies are printed in this order:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
If you select uncollated, the copies are printed in this order:
1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6
Press the
Output
button on the control panel to change the selection to
Collated
or
Uncollated
.
