English DISC FILING TEXT FILING You can file each disc by disc title and/or artist name in the unit's memory. FILE EDIT To input the disc title and artist name for the selected disc 1 In stop mode, press the DISC SKIP/CHARACTER buttons to select the disc to which you want to input the text data. (Make sure that "PROGRAM" indicator in the display is turned off before this step.) DISC SKIP/ CHARACTER "ARTIST" appears in the display and the cursor flashes. You can input the artist name. If you do not need to enter the artist name, skip step 6. 6 Repeat step 3 until the all characters you want are input. 7 Press the FILE EDIT button to store the artist name. FILE EDIT 2 Press the FILE EDIT button. TITLE EDIT TEXT Cursor position "TITLE" appears in the display and the cursor flashes. You can input the disc title. If you do not need to enter the disc title, skip steps 3 and 4. 3 Press the DISC SKIP/CHARACTER button repeatedly until the character you want to select appears, then press the ENTER button. The cursor moves to next position. Selected character TITLE EDIT TEXT TITLE EDIT TEXT "BEST" appears in the display. (For "BEST FILING" program, see page 19.) 8 FILE EDIT "SAVE" and "TEXT" appear in the display. Notes q When you input a character, each time you press the CAPS button, the type of character changes as follows. → Capital letters (A, B, C, D, ......) ↓ Small letters (a, b, c, d, ......) ↓ Figures (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, ......) Notes
When you input a character, each time you press the
CAPS
button, the type of character changes as follows.
Capital letters (A, B, C, D, ……)
Small letters (a, b, c, d, ……)
Figures (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, ……)
Symbols (!, ”, #, $, %,
……)
Maximum 12 characters can be used in each disc title or
artist name.
To input the disc title and artist name for the
selected disc

In stop mode, press the
DISC SKIP/CHARACTER
buttons to select the disc to which you want to input the
text data.
(Make sure that “PROGRAM” indicator in the display is
turned off before this step.)

Press the
FILE EDIT
button.
“TITLE” appears in the display and the cursor flashes.
You can input the disc title.
If you do not need to enter the disc title, skip steps 3
and 4.

Press the
DISC SKIP/CHARACTER
button repeatedly
until the character you want to select appears, then
press the
ENTER
button.
The cursor moves to next position.
