Making Global Settings (Utility) Speaker/Connectivity Speaker Binaural IAC IAC Depth Audio Loopback AUX IN Noise Gate Determines how the sound is output from the speaker of this instrument. • Headphone Switch: Speaker sounds normally, but is cut off when headphones are inserted to the [PHONES] jack. • On: Speaker sound is always on. • Off: Speaker sound is off. You can only hear the instrument sound via the headphones or an external device connected to the AUX OUT jacks. Turns the Binaural Sampling function or the Stereophonic Optimizer function for VRM Voices on or off. When the function is on and headphones are connected to the [PHONES] jack, the sound from the headphones is affected by these functions. However, when headphones are connected, these functions also affect the sound from the external speaker connected to the AUX OUT jacks or the sound for Audio recording (by using the Bluetooth Audio function or USB Audio Interface function), and may result unusual or unnatural sound. If this happens, turn this function off. For details about Binaural Sampling and Stereophonic Optimizer, refer to "Using Headphones" in the "Starting Up" section of the Owner's Manual. NOTE If the "Speaker" setting above is "On," the effect is not applied even when "Binaural" is set to on. Turns on or off the IAC (Intelligent Acoustic Control). With this function, the sound quality of this instrument is automatically adjusted and controlled according to the overall volume. Even when the volume is low, this lets you hear both low sounds and high sounds clearly. Adjusts the IAC depth. Determines whether audio input from the connected computer or smart device is output to a computer or a smart device or not. For details, refer to the Owner's Manual, Chapter 10. Speaker/Connectivity
Speaker
Determines how the sound is output from the speaker of this instrument.
Headphone Switch:
Speaker sounds normally, but is cut off when headphones are
inserted to the [PHONES] jack.
• On:
Speaker sound is always on.
• Off:
Speaker sound is off. You can only hear the instrument sound via the headphones
or an external device connected to the AUX OUT jacks.
Binaural
Turns the Binaural Sampling function or the Stereophonic Optimizer function for
VRM Voices on or off.
When the function is on and headphones are connected to the [PHONES] jack, the
sound from the headphones is affected by these functions. However, when
headphones are connected, these functions also affect the sound from the external
speaker connected to the AUX OUT jacks or the sound for Audio recording (by using

IAC
