MIDI Functions MIDI Note Number Auto Selection When MIDI Note Number Auto Selection is on and you strike the pad or press the pedal, the MIDI Note Number corresponding to the pad (voice) you strike or pedal (voice) you press is sent via the MIDI OUT terminal. On the other hand, when MIDI Note Number Auto Selection is off and you strike the pad or press the pedal, the MIDI Note Number that you've specifically assigned to the pad or pedal (page 5) is sent via the MIDI OUT terminal. AnS 1 Enter the MIDI Note Number Auto Selection setting function. Press the [FUNCTION] button once, then press the [DRUM 3] or [BACKING] button a number of times until the "AnS" item appears. After a while, the current setting (ON/OFF) appears next to the "AnS" indication. 2 Turn MIDI Note Number Auto Selection ON/OFF.
