Enabling this will drop ingress broadcast traffic in the physical Ethernet port if it exceeds the maximum traffic rate. Multicast Storm Control Select the check box to enable multicast storm control on the Zyxel Device. Enabling this will drop ingress multicast traffic in the physical Ethernet port if it exceeds the maximum traffic rate. Apply Click Apply to save your changes back to the Zyxel Device. Reset Click Reset to return the screen to its last-saved settings. 9.5 AC (AP Controller) Discovery This section discusses how to configure the Zyxel Device's AC Discovery settings. You can have the Zyxel Device managed by an AC on your network. When you do this, the Zyxel Device can be configured ONLY by the AC. See Section 8.9.1 on page 102 for more information on AC management. Note: The AC Discovery settings are not available in all Zyxel Devices. See Section 0.4 on page 19 for more information. If you want to return the Zyxel Device to function in standalone mode, you can do one of the two following options: • Press the Reset button. • Check the AC for the Zyxel Device's IP address and use FTP to upload the default configuration file to the Zyxel Device. You can get the configuration file at conf/system-default.conf. You must reboot the Zyxel Device after uploading the configuration file. AC (AP Controller) Discovery
This section discusses how to configure the Zyxel Device’s AC Discovery settings. You can have the Zyxel
Device managed by an AC on your network. When you do this, the Zyxel Device can be configured
ONLY by the AC. See
Section 8.9.1 on page 102
for more information on AC management.
Note: The AC Discovery settings are not available in all Zyxel Devices. See
Section 0.4 on page

for more information.
