Air Cleaner The air cleaner is the frontright section of the engine in compartment. To Check or Replace the Air Cleaner 2. Unscrew the clamp on the air intake hose where the hose attaches to the throttle body near the top of the engine. Detach the hose from the throttle body, then pull back the rear of the housing cover. 1. Undo the two screwsin the housing cover and pull back. If you have the 3800 Supercharged Engine, unsnap on the three clips the housing cover. 6-18
