Checking Things Under the Hood The following section tells how to check fluids, you lubricants and important parts under the hood. Things that burn can on hot engine parts and get like start a fire. These include liquids gasoline, oil, coolant, brake fluid, windshield washer and other fluids, and plastic or rubber. You or others could be burned. Be careful not to drop or spill that will burn ontoahot engine.
