Electrochromic Day/Night Rearview Mirror Setting the Sensitivity with Compass (Option) r L 1 This mirror automatically changes to reduce glare M when set in the (Mirror) or C/M (Compass/Mirror) positions. One photocell the backof the mirror on senses when it is becoming dark outside. Another irr photocell is built into them r o surface to sense headlamps behindyou. OFF: This setting turns the day/night function and off compass. The mirror will stay the day mode. in M: This turns on the day/night portion the mirror to of automatically reduce glare. C/M: This setting turns on the compass in addition to the day/night function. The letter or letters displayed in the top rightcomer of the mirror indicate the direction in which you are traveling. 2-48
