Foreign materials such as calcium chloride and other tar, salts, ice melting agents, road oil and tree sap, bird droppings, chemicals from industrial chimneys, etc., can on damage your vehicle's finish if they remain painted as surfaces. Wash the vehicle as soon possible. If necessary, use non-abrasive cleaners thatare marked safe for painted surfaces to remove foreign matter. Exterior painted surfaces are subject aging, weather to and chemical falloutthat can take their toll over a period of years. You can help to keep the paint finish looking new by keeping your Cadillac garaged covered or whenever possible. Don't take your vehicle through an automatic wash car that has silicon carbide cleaning brushes. These tire of brushes can also damage the surfacethese wheels. Tires To clean your tires, use a stiff brush with a tire cleaner.
