Roof Rack Provisions Ashtrays and Cigarette Lighter (Option) NOTICE: CAUTION: If you try to carry something on top of your vehicle that is longer or wider than the luggage carrier -- like paneling, plywood, a mattress, and so forth -- the wind can catch it as you drive along. This can cause you to lose control. What you are carrying could be violently torn off, and this could cause you or other drivers to have a collision, and of course damage your vehicle. You may be able to carry something like this inside. But, never carry something longer or wider than the luggage carrier on top of your vehicle. Your vehicle is equipped with mounting locations for the installation of a roof rack or luggage carrier. The mounting locations are located on the roof rail. You must open the doors to access them. The threaded nuts are covered with a plastic cap that must be removed before use. For more information on purchasing the rack/carrier as well as installation information, contact your dealer. Don't put papers or other flammable items into your ashtrays. Hot cigarettes or other smoking materials could ignite them, causing a damaging fire. Front Ashtray The front ashtray is located under the climate control panel on the center console. Press on the door to release the ashtray. To empty the ashtray, remove it from the center console by gripping the edges and pulling straight out. To reinstall, push the tray back into place. Rear Ashtray Rear seat ashtrays are not available on this vehicle. 2-66
