Engine Coolant Temperature Warning Light This light tells you that your engine has overheated. As a check, the light should come on for a few seconds when you start your engine. Engine Coolant Temperature Gage If this light comes on and stays on, you should stop your vehicle and turn the engine off as soon as possible.
