UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR VEHICLE 67 ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROL This device can be engaged to take over the accelerator operation at speeds between 30 mph (48 km/h) and 85 mph (137 km/h). The controls are mounted on the steering wheel. 3 NOTE: You must press the ON/OFF button to activate the system each time the engine is started. WARNING! To Activate: Push the ON/OFF button to turn the system ON. The CRUISE light in the instrument cluster will illuminate when the system is ON. Leaving the Electronic Speed Control system on when not in use is dangerous. You could accidentally set the system or cause it to go faster than you want. You could lose control and have an accident. Always leave the system OFF when you are not using it.
