Features 1. Remove the key from the ignition. The hood must be closed to arm the system 2. Close all of the doors. 3. Press the remote entry transmitter LOCK button or use the keyless entry system by pressing 7/8 and 9/0 at the same time. The alarm indicator will come on for 30 seconds to show the alarm is arming and then turn off to show that it has armed. The anti-theft system is designed to work with the factory installed remote keyless entry system. It may not work with other remote entry systems. Disarming an untriggered anti-theft system You can disarm the system by unlocking either front door or the liftgate with your door key. Turn the key all the way to the end of travel or the system will not disarm. You can also disarm the system by unlocking the driver's door by using the UNLOCK button of the remote entry transmitter or by using the five-digit unlock code on the keyless entry system keypad. If the system is armed and you remain in your vehicle, simply insert the key into the ignition and turn it to ON. This disarms the system and allows you to open the door and exit without triggering the system.
