Maintenance and Specifications 7. Install a new air filter element. Be careful not to crimp the filter element edges between the air filter housing and cover. 8. Replace the air filter housing cover and secure the clamps. Be sure all the tabs on the bottom edge are properly aligned. 9. Reinstall the air cleaner assembly into the vehicle.
