GENERAL INFORMATION 41 When the rider has, using the throttle limiter explained here, developed sufficient skill and experience to operate the ATV safely at higher speed, you can increase the maximum speed capability of the ATV by approximately 50% by removing the maximum speed reduction collar from the drive train system. j żSince this work needs special tool, ask your Kawasaki dealer to remove this collar. WARNING HAZARD Removing the maximum speed reduction collar before the rider has developed sufficient skills to operate the ATV safely is hazardous. WHAT CAN HAPPEN Riding at excessive speeds increases chances of losing control of the ATV, which can result in an accident. HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD Do not remove the maximum speed reduction collar until the rider develops sufficient skills to operate the ATV safely at the maximum speed with the maximum speed reduction collar in place. This ATV is also equipped with a maximum speed
reduction collar installed in the drive train system
from the factory.
When the rider has, using the throttle limiter ex-
plained here, developed sufficient skill and experi-
ence to operate the ATV safely at higher speed, you
can increase the maximum speed capability of the
ATV by approximately 50% by removing the maxi-
mum speed reduction collar from the drive train sys-
tem.
