30 GENERAL INFORMATION j Stopping the Motorcycle For maximum deceleration, close the throttle and apply both front and rear brakes. Pull in the clutch lever as the motorcycle comes to a stop (KLX110D model). Independent use of the front or rear brake may be advantageous in certain circumstances. Shift down progressively to ensure good engine response at all speeds. Stopping the Motorcycle
For maximum deceleration, close the throttle and
apply both front and rear brakes. Pull in the clutch
lever as the motorcycle comes to a stop (KLX110D
model). Independent use of the front or rear brake
may be advantageous in certain circumstances.
Shift down progressively to ensure good engine
response at all speeds.
