100 MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT Fuel System Accumulation of moisture or sediment in the fuel system can restrict the flow of fuel and cause carburetor malfunction. The system should be checked in accordance with the Periodic Maintenance Chart. j WARNING Gasoline is extremely flammable and can be explosive under certain conditions and cause severe burns. Before performing any service, turn the ignition switch "OFF". Do not smoke. Make sure the area is well-ventilated and free from any source of flame or sparks, including any appliance with a pilot light. Make sure the engine is cold before servicing. Wipe any fuel off the engine before starting it. A. Guard Plate B. Air Intake Ducts (2 p.c.s.) C. Clamps (2 p.c.s.) D. Quick Rivets (6 p.c.s.) E.
