MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT 103 Fuel Filter Accumulation of moisture or sediment in the fuel system can restrict the flow of fuel and cause injection pump damage. The system should be checked in accordance with the Periodic Maintenance Chart. WARNING Fuel is extremely flammable and can be explosive under certain conditions. Turn the main switch OFF. Do not smoke. Make sure the area is well ventilated and free from any source of flame or sparks; this includes any appliance with a pilot light. Make sure the engine is cold before working.
