Prolonged engine operation can result in engine damage from overheating. j NOTICE The CVT Check Indicator Light goes on after 100 hours of operation as a reminder that the drive belt must be inspected for wear. Oil Pressure Warning Light: The "LED" (Light Emitting Diode) oil pressure light blinks to warn the operator whenever the oil pressure is dangerously low or the ignition key is in the "ON" position with the engine not running, and goes off when the engine oil pressure is high enough. Refer to the MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT chapter for more detailed engine oil information. Coolant Temperature Warning Light: The coolant temperature warning light stays on whenever the coolant temperature rises too high while the vehicle is in operation. If it stays on, stop the engine and check the coolant level in the reserve tank after the engine cools down. Be sure to check that the radiator fan is free from mud and other obstacles. See Breaker section of MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT chapter. NOTE żWhen you touch the cooling fan, be sure to turn off the ignition switch.
