46 GENERAL INFORMATION j Engine Warning Indicator/"FI" Character/Warning Indicator Light If the fuel-injection-related parts malfunction, the warning indicator light goes on, the engine warning indicator and "FI" blink and a buzzer sounds to warn the operator. Return to shore immediately and have your authorized Kawasaki JET SKI watercraft dealer check your boat to determine the problem. To stop the buzzer, press any button for more than a second. Depending on the problem the engine speed will automatically be limited to 3 000 rpm. j Engine Oil Overheat Indicator/"OILH" Character/Warning Indicator Light If the engine oil temperature gets too high, the warning indicator light goes on and the engine oil indicator blinks and buzzer sound to warn the operator. Also "OILH" character starts blinking. The engine speed will automatically be limited to 3 000 rpm. Return to shore immediately and check the cooling system for clogging and engine oil level. If the cause is other than a clogged cooling system or low oil level, have your authorized Kawasaki JET SKI watercraft dealer check your PWC to determine the problem (see the TROUBLE SHOOTING for instances when the engine speed will automatically be limited to 3 000 rpm). Engine Oil Overheat Indicator/“OILH”
Character/Warning Indicator Light
If the engine oil temperature gets too high, the
warning indicator light goes on and the engine oil
indicator blinks and buzzer sound to warn the oper-
ator. Also “OILH” character starts blinking.
The engine speed will automatically be limited to
3 000 rpm. Return to shore immediately and check
the cooling system for clogging and engine oil level.
If the cause is other than a clogged cooling system
or low oil level, have your authorized Kawasaki JET
SKI watercraft dealer check your PWC to determine
the problem (see the TROUBLE SHOOTING for in-
stances when the engine speed will automatically be
limited to 3 000 rpm).
