KEYS AND DOORS See "Luggage stowage precautions" on page 41 for precautions to observe in loading luggage. After closing the back door, try pulling it up to make sure it is securely closed. Closing the back door with the lock button pushed in will also lock the back door. Be careful not to lock your keys in the vehicle. The back door lock will be controlled with the power door lock switch. (For instructions, see "Side doors" on page 11.) Locking with back door child-protector ! CAUTION Whenever small children are in the vehicle, lock the back door so that it does not open from the inside. To do this, move the lever to the "LOCK" position as shown on the label. Keep the back door closed while driving. This not only keeps the luggage from being thrown out but also prevents exhaust gases from entering the vehicle. 15
