KEYS AND DOORS Closing the quarter windows If the retractable hardtop does not close, the quarter windows can be closed electrically using the following operation. 1. Turn the ignition switch on. 2. Turn the trunk lid opener main switch in the glove box from the operative position to the inoperative position (in the cancelled position). See page 86. 3. Push the "OPEN/CLOSE" switch on the "OPEN" side twice slowly within 10 seconds after step 2. 4. Hold down the same switch on the "CLOSE" side once within 10 seconds after step 3. The quarter windows will close. IF YOU CANNOT SHIFT AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SELECTOR LEVER 40sa25a INFORMATION Operate the switch slowly. Pushing it quickly may not close the quarter windows. If you cannot shift the selector lever, use the shift lock override button as follows: 1 Turn the ignition switch to "LOCK" or "ACC". Make sure the parking brake is applied.
