GAUGES, METERS AND SERVICE REMINDER INDICATORS ADJUSTING THE BRIGHTNESS OF THE DISPLAY The key must be in the "ACC" or "ON" position. To adjust the brightness of the display, push and hold the "MODE" button for more than 2 seconds. "ILL" will appear on the display. To increase the brightness - Push the " To decrease the brightness - Push the " " button. " button. Clock You can adjust the brightness to 3 levels (when the tail lights are off) or 6 levels (when the tail lights are on). After adjusting, the display automatically return to the previous display. CAUTION Do not adjust the display while the vehicle is moving. Be sure to adjust the display only when the vehicle is stopped. The digital clock indicates the time when the key is in the "ACC" or "ON" position. To reset the time, push and hold the "MODE" button for 2 seconds. "ILL" will appear on the display. Then push the "MODE" button once. The time will blink. To reset the hour - Push the " " button. To reset the minutes - Push the " " button. To adjust the time to the nearest hour, push the "RESET" button. For example, if the "RESET" button is depressed when the time is between 1:01 - 1:29, the time will change to 1:00. If the time is between 1:30 - 1:59, the time will change to 2:00. If the electric power source has been disconnected, the time display will automatically be set to 1:00. 68
