5-2. Steps to take in an emergency Warning lights Warning light/Details Vehicle stability control system warning light Indicates a malfunction in the VSC system. Low tire pressure warning light (Warning chimes) • Low tire pressure • Malfunction in the low tire pressure warning system Rear light failure warning light lndicates a malfunction in: • Tail light; • Stop light; or • Licence plate light n If the malfunction indicator lamp remains on while driving First check the following: l Check fuel level, if the fuel tank is empty, refuel immediately. l Check the fuel tank cap, if the fuel tank cap is loose, tighten it securely. 5 The light will go off after driving regularly for some time. If the light does not go off even after several trips, contact your Lexus dealer as soon as possible. When trouble arises 261
