Steps to take in an emergency Vehicles with standard tires l If the warning light is on, the tire inflation pressure is lower than specified Stop your vehicle at a safe place as soon as possible. Check and adjust the tire inflation pressure as specified on the tire and loading information label. (→P.217) If the warning light comes on or blinks even after tire inflation pressure adjustment, it is probable that you have a flat tire. If the tire goes flat, change to the spare tire. (→P.270) The warning light remains on even if the spare tire is mounted. l If the low tire pressure warning light blinks and chimes sound every few minutes, the tire inflation pressure is very low Stop your vehicle at a safe place as soon as possible.
