RX400h_Navi_U (L/O 0608) 266 AIR CONDITIONING 2. Use the "TEMP" or "PASSENGER TEMP" button to set the vehicle interior temperature. The interior temperature can be controlled in the driver and passenger zones simultaneously or individually. To increase the interior temperature, press the " " side. To decrease the interior temperature, press the " " side. To heat or cool the cabin quickly - "LO" appears when you hold the " " side until the lowest temperature is reached, and "HI" appears when you hold the " " side until the highest temperature is reached. "TEMP" button - Changes the temperature in the driver and passenger zones simultaneously or on the driver's zone only. "PASSENGER TEMP" button - Changes the temperature settings in the front passenger zone. "DUAL" - This is used to set the temperatures independently for the driver's seat and front passenger seat. Touching the button changes the mode from independent and linked. D Independent mode: Temperatures can be set independently for the driver's seat and front passenger's seat. The indicator light will illuminate to show that the independent mode has been selected. D Linked mode: The same temperature is set for the driver's seat and front passenger's seat. The indicator light will turn off to show that the linked mode has been selected. When the temperature for the front passenger's seat is changed in the linked mode, the mode is changed automatically to the independent mode.
