5-2. Steps to take in an emergency CAUTION n When the electric power steering system warning light comes on The steering wheel may become extremely heavy. If the steering wheel becomes heavier than usual when operating, firmly hold and operate it using more force than usual. Follow the correction procedures. After taking the specified steps to correct the suspected problem, check that the warning light turns off. Warning light Warning light/Details Open door warning light (warning buzzer)*1 Indicates that a door or the trunk is not fully closed. Correction procedure Check that all doors and the trunk are closed. In the fuel gauge Low fuel level warning light Remaining fuel Refuel the vehicle. (Approximately 3.4 gal. [13L, 2.8 Imp. gal.] or less) Driver's seat belt reminder light (warning buzzer)*2 Warns the driver to fasten his/her seat belt. Fasten the seat belt. Front passenger's seat belt reminder light (warning buzzer)*2 Fasten the seat belt. Warns the front passenger to fasten his/her seat belt. 716
