Disabling the remote trunk release Remote Fuel Filler Door Release (If equipped) Your vehicle has a remote control fuel filler door which cannot be opened from the outside. To unlatch the fuel filler door, firmly push down the front of the release handle, which is on the floor to the left of the driver's seat.
