The front passenger air bag should illuminate. If this status light light is not illuminated see, ЉFront passenger air bag and status lightЉ in this section. Move the child restraint to another seating position. Have the system checked by a NISSAN dealer. After the child restraint is removed and the seat belt is fully retracted, the ALR mode (child restraint mode) is canceled. 2nd row captain's chairs (if so equipped) 2nd row bench seat (if so equipped) INSTALLING TOP TETHER STRAP (2nd row captain's chairs or 2nd row bench seat [if so equipped] ) First, secure the child restraint with the LATCH lower anchors (2nd row captain's or bench outboard seating positions only) or the seat belt, as applicable. 1. If necessary, raise or remove the head re1 straint to position the top tether strap ᭺ over the top of the seatback. If the head restraint is removed, store it in a secure place.
