TROUBLESHOOTING Engine Troubleshooting CAUTION: Unless you have experience and training in two-cycle engine repair, see your dealer if technical problems arise. Erratic engine Drive clutch binding operating RPM during Driven clutch acceleration or load varia- malfunction tions Harsh drive clutch engagement Drive belt turns over Drive belt worn or too narrow Excessive belt/sheave clearance Wrong belt for application Clutch alignment out of spec S Replace the drive belt. S SEE YOUR DEALER. S Replace the drive belt. S SEE YOUR DEALER Engine mount broken S Inspect and replace. SEE YOUR or loose DEALER. Machine fails to move Clutch jammed Track jammed S Check for twisted belt or broken spring. SEE YOUR DEALER. S Foreign object may be caught or the slider melted to the track clips due to lack of lubrication. S Track may be iced up or frozen to the ground.
