WARRANTY Warranty Coverage And Exclusions: Limitations Of Warranties And Remedies Lubricants and Fluids 1. Mixing oil brands or using non-recommended oil may cause engine damage. We recommend the use of POLARIS engine oil. 2. Damage or failure resulting from the use of non-recommended lubricants or fluids is not covered by this warranty. This warranty provides no coverage for personal loss or expense, including mileage, transportation costs, hotels, meals, shipping or handling fees, product pick-up or delivery, replacement rentals, loss of product use, loss of profits, or loss of vacation or personal time. THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE, AT POLARIS' OPTION, REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY DEFECTIVE MATERIALS, COMPONENTS, OR PRODUCTS. THE REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY ARE THE ONLY REMEDIES AVAILABLE TO ANY PERSON FOR BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY. The standard limited warranty on the engine of this vehicle runs for a period of twelve (12) months or 1000 engine operation hours, whichever occurs first. The warranty period on the engine (by duration or operation hours) begins on the date of delivery to the original retail purchaser and is valid only until the applicable warranted duration has passed or the operation hours are exceeded, whichever comes first. What is NOT covered by this warranty? This warranty does not cover parts affected by or damaged by any reason other than defective materials or workmanship including, but not limited to, accident, misuse, abuse, "Acts of God", neglect, improper installation, improper maintenance, improper storage, the use of unsuitable attachments or parts, the use of contaminated fuels, the use of fuels, oils, lubricants or fluids other than those recommended in this manual, unauthorized alterations or modifications, ordinary wear and tear, and rust or corrosion. This warranty does not cover the cost of parts and/or labor required to perform normal scheduled maintenance on your engine. This warranty does not cover consumable parts such as, but not limited to, filters, belts, hoses, fuel injector nozzles, lubricants and cleaning fluids. This warranty does not cover the cost of shipping the product to or from your POLARIS dealership. 109
