Center High-Mounted Stoplamp (CHMSL) To change a CHMSL bulb, do the following: 1. Remove the CHMSL cover by pulling down on the cover edges from inside the vehicle. Taillamps, Turn Signal, Stoplamps and Back-up Lamps To change one of these bulbs, do the following: 1. Open the trunk. See Trunk on page 2-11 for more information. 2. Remove the three retaining screws from the taillamp assembly. 2. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it. 3. Replace with the appropriate bulb. 4. Reinstall the bulb socket by turning it clockwise. 5. Replace the cover. 3. Slide the taillamp assembly back and remove it from the quarter panel. 5-54

4. Reinstall the bulb socket by turning it clockwise.
5. Replace the cover.
