EBU01295 Shifting This model has a 5-speed forward and 1-speed reverse transmission with centrifugal automatic clutch. The transmission allows you to control the amount of power you have available at a given speed or for starting, accelerating, climbing hills, etc. To shift into neutral, return the throttle lever to the closed position and repeatedly depress the shift pedal until it stops. When it stops, it will be in reverse gear. Raise the pedal slightly to neutral. CAUTION: _ Do not coast for long periods with the engine off, and do not tow the ATV a long distance. Even in the neutral position, the transmission is only properly lubricated when the engine is running. Inadequate lubrication may cause damage. _ EBU00205 To start out and accelerate 1. Shifting
This model has a 5-speed forward and

ating, climbing hills, etc. To shift into neutral,
return the throttle lever to the closed position
and repeatedly depress the shift pedal until it
stops. When it stops, it will be in reverse gear.
