The service information included in this manual and the tools provided in the owner's tool kit are intended to assist you in the performance of preventive maintenance and minor repairs. However, additional tools such as a torque wrench may be necessary to perform certain maintenance work correctly. Recommended equipment It is good practice to carry the spare parts and other necessary equipment with you while riding the snowmobile so that minor repairs can be done if necessary. The following should be carried at all times: G Flashlight G Roll of plastic tape G Steel wire G Tow rope G V-belt G Light bulbs When you start out for a long distance trip, extra fuel should be carried as well. ESU12783 Removing and installing the shroud and covers EWS00091 WARNING Be sure shroud and covers are secured before operation. A loose shroud or cover could move and cause loss of control. 1. Tool kit ECS00781 NOTICE Before starting the engine, make sure that the tool kit is securely fastened and that the storage pouch zipper is completely closed. Shroud To remove the shroud Loosen the fasteners, and then slide the shroud forward. the storage pouch zipper is completely

TIP
If you do not have a torque wrench available
