Warning light " " ECS00041 " TIP If there is no engine oil in the oil passages when the engine is started, such as after the engine oil is changed, the warning indicator may come on and "OP-LO" may appear in the odometer display for a few seconds until the oil circulates through the engine. The snowmobile can be operated normally after the warning indicator goes off. ESU10513 NOTICE Do not continue to operate the engine if it is overheating. ESU12686 Self-diagnosis device This model is equipped with a self-diagnosis device for various electrical circuits. If a problem is detected in any of those circuits, the warning light and the engine trouble warning indicator flash, and an error code flashes slowly in the meter display. Note the error code, and then have a Yamaha dealer inspect the snowmobile as soon as possible. NOTICE: Do not continue to operate the engine longer than necessary if there is an error code to avoid possible engine damage. [ECS00820] Coolant temperature warning indicator " " If the engine overheats, the coolant temperature warning indicator and the warning light come on. When this occurs, stop the engine immediately and allow the engine to cool down, and then check the coolant level in the coolant reservoir. (See page 61 for checking procedures.) 17
