Installing the Novell NetWare Client Driver 3-7 NetWare Shell Support for Windows for Workgroups If you are installing only NetWare shell support for Windows for Workgroups, complete the following steps. For more information, ask your system administrator. 1 Using Windows for Workgroups, locate the Network icon and click it. 2 Click Network and select Install Windows Support for the Following Network Only, for example: Novell NetWare (Workstation shell 3.x or 4.x) 3 Click OK. 4 Click OK again in the Network Setup window that appears, and follow the prompts. It may be necessary to use your Novell or Windows for Workgroups network support diskettes during the installation. 5 Reboot the PC when prompted. Installation of NetWare shell support is complete. Windows 95 This section describes how to install the driver if your PC is running Windows 95 and you are connecting to a NetWare network. This driver supports 16-bit applications. To install the driver if your PC is running Windows 95, complete these steps: 1 Gather the information described in "Before You Begin" at the beginning of this chapter.
