Driver Installation Under Linux 6 Update the modules.dep file, by issuing the following command: Run /sbin/depmod -a 7 Run mkinitrd by entering the following: /sbin/mkinitrd -v -f /boot/initrd-.img where is the /lib/modules directory from which to copy the 3w-9xxx driver.
